Suwon Art Space Gwanggyo Project 2025 <NANAN: The Transparent Garden>

The 'transparent garden' that blooms on the boundary between inside and outside is a perfect match for the vast nature, plants, and seasons of Gwanggyo Lake Park.

The afterimages of memories rooted in emotions, like autumn, cosmos, and sunsets filled with memories of someone, overlap with the 'transparent garden' and allow us to look into the garden within ourselves.

A transparent garden is a garden that blooms to allow us to see what is invisible .

The flowers that bloom on the border between inside and outside do not exist to โ€˜coverโ€™ something .

Rather, it bloomed 'to see' the invisible inner garden .

For me, the scenery of cosmos, autumn, and sunset is my mother and the memories I had with her.

If this work can allow me to stay in someone's emotions, memories, and gaze for a moment,
It will be a unique garden that exists only within it, and it will be a poetics of a space that exists nowhere.

Through this installation, I hope that art will become a public practice that transcends specific spaces and permeates everyday landscapes.

Location, Opening Date: Suwon City Art Space Gwanggyo Outdoor (140 Gwanggyojungang-ro, Hadong, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon) / 5.SEP - 30.NOV. 2025
