On the pond in Boramae Park
The 'Three Songi Water Lily' has bloomed.
Don't forget me
The greenness that this flower holds
To the longing that is difficult to even name
It is the deepest prayer.

Abductees, prisoners of war, and detainees—
Including missionaries Kim Jeong-uk, Kim Guk-gi, and Choi Chun-gil
The waiting of countless people
It is a prayer that floats on still water and blooms.

By day, with the blue flower of hope
At night, fly like a blue bird of hope
I hold the hearts of those who cannot speak,
It speaks to the deepest part of our hearts.
“I am still here,”
“I dream of the day I can return.”

On the pond that has reflected people's hearts for a long time
There are untold stories buried deep in the abyss.
Like a prayer,
Like a letter,
Become the hope that will arrive someday
It bloomed into flowers.

The wish that rises above this water
It doesn't belong to one person, it belongs to all of us.
All citizens and spectators staying here
I read the story contained in each forget-me-not flower with my heart,
I hope we can gather our wishes and hopes together as one.

And through all those long years, I have endured immeasurable longing and sadness.
To the families of the abductees
This small pond provides a little bit of quiet comfort,
I hope to be a star that shines even in the darkness.

“I will follow you like a star wherever you go.”
Like the heart of poet Yun Dong-ju,
We will not forget,
Don't lose,
Light up the stars following your memories.

Flowers do not wither, but bloom under another name.
The wait will one day turn into an encounter.
